適用於 Windows Server 2008 R2 的 Windows Media Services 2008

如Windows Media Services for Windows Server 2008所講的，自Windows2008已經不包含串流處理媒體的服務，必須另外安裝套件。

而更重要的是Windows Media Services不再提供支援Windows 2012。

在Windows Server中取而代之的是 IIS Media Services
